Artek Table 82B Birch/Black, 85 x 135 cm

Table 82B is the product that sums up the greatest achievements of Alvar Aalto's career. Aalto first introduced the revolutionary bent L-leg in 1933, and it quickly became a standard component of Aalto's collection. The L-leg bending technique allowed the legs of the chair or table to be attached directly to the table top in a way that made furniture stable without extra parts. Aalto's L-leg furniture has achieved a cult status in homes both in Finland and abroad.

The table top surface is black linoleum, the edge band birch. Top thickness 5 cm. L-legs in lacquered natural birch. The desk is delivered with legs unattached.
