Eames House Bird was part of Ray and Charles Eames’ personal collection, a souvenir from the designer couple’s travels. The wooden bird can be spotted in several of the Eameses’ photographs and still greets visitors today at their residence in California. Since 2007, this iconic bird has reached a broader, international fan base through the Vitra collection.
The bird is made of black painted wood and metal.
