Chair 69 is one of the most popular chairs by Alvar Aalto. It has been in production since 1935, when Aalto designed it for the Vyborg Library. The chair has since been issued in six new colours, all picked from tones used by Aalto for the interior and structures of the Paimio sanatorium. The chair, slightly wider than the other chairs by Aalto, is sturdy and comfortable.
The chair is delivered assembled. The legs of the chair have felt glides to protect the floor. Seat height 45.5 cm.
