The classic Skovby #33 dining table features an elegant, rounded design with a surprisingly organic look when extended. This four-person table can be easily extended to seat up to eight people.
The patented extension mechanism of table #33 is concealed under the table tops. The three-part table top opens synchronously when the MDF flange under the top is rotated clockwise. The three extension pieces stored inside the central leg pop up with a light push.
This table was designed more than 30 years ago by Skovby's chief designer Per Hånsbaek. Hånsbaek got the idea for the extension mechanism from the spring of a ball-point pen and bayonet socket of a cordless drill.
This walnut veneer table is 149 cm long when extended.
