The Pallo chair is one of the icons of Finnish furniture design. Eero Aarnio designed the Pallo chair in 1963 and the 1966 Cologne Furniture Fair catapulted the chair to international stardom. It quickly became a cult item of the pop era, and its reputation was further enhanced by magazine covers, movies and the trend-aware influencers of the time.
The secret of the chair’s popularity lies in its simple, futuristic design. Sitting in the Pallo, you will naturally forget the outside the world, floating in your own private bubble.
The inside of the fibreglass frame is padded and upholstered with red Tonus 130 fabric. The hard-wearing upholstery will remain beautiful for years to complement the enduring design of the Pallo chair.
Please bear in mind that your doorway needs to be at least 82 cm wide for the Pallo chair to fit through.
