Artek's A330S is a wall version of the beloved 1937 classic, the Golden Bell. Originally designed for the Savoy Restaurant by Alvar Aalto, this lamp is one of the icons of Finnish design.
The light’s arm swivels through 180 degrees, making it a fantastic reading or work lamp. Its light is diffused beautifully through the shade’s perforated rim, making the Golden Bell an atmospheric alternative for room lighting as well.
The shade is made of hand-spun steel. The swivel arm is made of bent steel tube and the wall mounting is dye-cast metal. The outer surface of the shade is chrome-plated and the inner surface painted white. The length of the white plastic cable is 2.5 m.
Beginning this October, Artek is offering pendant or wall light buyers a Light Tasting gift package that includes three different bulbs for different lighting scenarios. The package’s E27 bulbs are dimmable. The warm, atmospheric bulb in the Light Tasting gift package is great for reading or lighting an intimate kitchen table. The warm and bright light, on the other hand, is ideal for lighting a large dining room table, while cool and strong light is recommended for hallway or workspace lighting.
