The Aarhus sofa with chaise longue by BoConcept combines timeless Scandinavian design with high-quality materials. The wooden-framed Aarhus sofa is a long-lasting choice that remains stylish year after year, regardless of changing interior trends.
Designed by the Danish design studio ARDE, Aarhus is a modular sofa that can be adapted by combining different modules, which allows it to be tailored to changing needs. With circular economy principles in mind, the components of the Aarhus sofa can be repaired, replaced, and ultimately recycled.
In this model, the chaise longue is on the right side when viewed from the front. The sofa features a detachable and washable cover, which makes maintenance and cleaning easier. The cover is made of white Copenhagen fabric that is Oeko-Tex certified and produced entirely from recycled materials. The durable yet pleasantly soft fabric consists of 96% recycled RPET polyester and 4% nylon and is also certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
The frame of the Aarhus sofa is made of FSC®-certified pine and plywood. Pocket springs in the seat and no-sag springs in the backrest provide firm and consistent support. The sofa has dark stained oak legs.
