The upper surface of the rug is a pleasantly soft leather with a short-cut top layer. The surface, which feels rough against the grain, is lively and different in each rug. Colour variations are part of the rug's character, making it a unique decorative element.
Vacuum the carpet regularly. Avoid vigorous rubbing or vacuum cleaners, which can damage the surface. We recommend using a separate non-slip mat under the carpet if your home has underfloor heating.
