The Nawabari footstool by BoConcept features sculptural shapes in a playful design that is both soft and welcoming. The Nawabari footstool is part of Nawabari furniture collection, designed in collaboration with BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). The collection draws inspiration from the Japanese art form of rope binding, which symbolizes the forging of close bonds. In Japanese, ’Nawa’ means rope, and ’Nawabari’ can be understood as the act of stretching rope.
The footstool is upholstered in Napoli corduroy developed exclusively for BoConcept. The soft fabric is 79% cotton and 21% polyester. Vacuum the fabric regularly, as dust increases the wear and tear of the product.
