The Nawabari sofa is part of Nawabari furniture collection, designed in collaboration with BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). The collection draws inspiration from the Japanese art form of rope binding, which symbolizes the forging of close bonds. In Japanese, ’Nawa’ means rope, and ’Nawabari’ can be understood as the act of stretching rope.
The 2-seater sofa is upholstered in Ravello velvet fabric, which has a beautiful sheen and soft surface. The durable Ravello fabric is made of 100% polyester and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning it is produced without harmful chemicals. The sofa has black powder-coated metal legs.
