The CH23 chair by Carl Hansen & Søn was one of the first chairs created by Danish designer Hans J. Wegner for this manufacturer. In the style of Wegner, the chair combines an uncompromising finish with clean lines and a simple construction.
The curved backrest, paper yarn seat and gently inclined back legs of this chair launched in 1950 simply compel you to take a seat. Comfortable yet compact, the CH23 is the perfect dining chair. Also try it at a desk or to brighten the look of your hallway.
The frame of the CH23 chair is black painted oak and the seat braided paper yarn. The chair is handmade in Denmark. Seat height 44.5 cm.
