The CH24 by Carl Hansen & Søn, known as the Wishbone chair, is one of the most famous creations of Hans J. Wegner, with airy and curved shapes that tempt you to take a seat. Wegner designed the Wishbone chair in 1949, and it has been in production since 1950. The backrest features a distinctive Y shape.
The uncompromising finish of the chair accentuates its simple design and clean lines. Regardless of the simple appearance of the chair, there are more than 100 stages in its manufacturing process. Just the hand-made seat takes 120 metres of paper yarn to make.
The chair has a black oak frame and a black braided paper yarn seat. The chair is handmade in Denmark. Seat height 45 cm.
