The CH24 by Carl Hansen & Søn, known as the Wishbone chair, is one of the most famous creations of Hans J. Wegner, with airy and curved shapes that tempt you to take a seat. Wegner designed the Wishbone chair in 1949, and it has been in production since 1950. The backrest features a distinctive Y shape.
The uncompromising finish of the chair accentuates its simple design and clean lines. Regardless of the simple appearance of the chair, there are more than 100 stages in its manufacturing process. Just the hand-made seat takes 120 metres of paper yarn to make.
The CH24 chair has an olive green matte finish, which makes it easier to keep the chair clean than before. Like the original Wishbone chair, the matte version is a timeless and elegant chair. The body of the chair is made of FSC® certified beech and the seat of natural-coloured paper cord. Seat height 45 cm.
