Architect Arne Jacobsen designed the Egg armchair as part of the interior of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The chair gives complete privacy to its occupant but can be turned to face your companion. The armchair also works well in a group of several chairs.
The Egg chair is upholstered in high-quality Hallingdal fabric, containing 70% wool and 30% viscose. The fabric has a Martindale abrasion resistance value of 100,000 cycles, making it very durable for private use and also suitable for public spaces. The Hallingdal fabric is fireproof and naturally dirt-repellent.
Seat height 37 cm. Please note that the chair is not equipped with a swivel return mechanism.
