The Grand Prix is a classic chair designed by architect and designer Arne Jacobsen in 1957. The chair gets its name from the Grand Prix award of the Milan Triennial, which the chair received in the same year it was designed.
The elegant Grand Prix represents the best of design furniture: it is both ergonomic and lovely to look at. This multipurpose chair is an ideal dining, office or bedroom chair.
The chair is part of the "A Sense of Color" collection launched by Fritz Hansen and Carla Sozzan in September 2020.
The coloured ash seat is made of nine layers of pressure-moulded veneer. This structure makes the chair extremely strong and flexible. Seat height 46.5 cm.
