Architect Arne Jacobsen designed the Swan chair as part of the interior of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. With its curved shapes, the Swan was a technically innovative chair for its time.

You can recognise a genuine Swan chair from the Fritz Hansen logo on the seam of the upholstery. The chair is upholstered in red Divina 623 fabric by Kvadrat. The wool fabric is remarkably durable in use and even passes the wear resistance properties required for public spaces.
Seat height 40 cm. The chair is not equipped with a swivel return mechanism.
