Tynell 9602 by Gubi is a beloved floor lamp designed by the iconic Finnish designer Paavo Tynell. The 9602 floor lamp, nicknamed the “Chinese Hat”, is a good example of Tynell’s capacity for playful yet elegant design. Use the 9602 floor lamp in your living room or bedroom as a reading lamp or mood lamp.
Paavo Tynell designed the Chinese Hat in 1935 for Hotel Aulanko. The lamp was manufactured by the Oy Taito Ab craft forge co-founded by Tynell. Gubi put some of this designer’s most beloved lamps back into production in 2018.
