The Maranga bed by Hästens conforms to your body in a unique way. This meticulously designed bed is built to ensure the best possible sleep. Thanks to the 27 manually assembled layers of natural material inside the bed, the Maranga adapts perfectly to its occupant. The name Maranga is Maori for “awakening”.
The Maranga bed is hand-made from natural materials, such as cotton, linen, wool and horsehair. Horsehair is a flexible material that removes moisture and increases the elasticity of the mattress and the comfort of your bed. The wool mixed with the cotton ensures that the temperature of the bed always feels right: warm when its cool and cool when its warm. The precise side stitching supports the mattress and keeps it firm.
The Maranga bed consists of one 180 × 200 cm spring mattress and two spring base units. The mattress has dual firmness: one side is firm, and the other side is medium. On top, there is a single, BJ top mattress measuring 180 cm in width.
The legs are made of birch and are 16 cm high. Connecting fittings keep the base units together. The bed features a blue checkered upholstery made of 100% cotton.
The frame and spring system come with a 25-year warranty from the date of delivery.
