The Knob sofa bed by Karup Design is a graceful and simple sofa bed with a clever bed mechanism. A knob under each armrest allows the sofa to be converted into a bed and from a bed back into a sofa. Modern and simply elegant, this sofa bed serves as a guest bed in the home or in the leisure apartment.
At the heart of the Danish Karup Design range are a variety of futons and the versatility of the furniture. Founded in 1972, the company's futon sofas are manufactured in Europe.
The Knob futon sofa has a brown-stained pine frame and a mattress fabric of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The filling has a sturdy foam core with recycled fibre padding around it. Mattress size 130 x 190 cm, height 14 cm. The frame is supplied in parts. The use of a fabric protector is not recommended.
