The minimalist VL45 Radiohus pendant by Louis Poulsen was originally designed in the 1940s for the Radiohuset in Copenhagen. It was designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, one of the pioneers of Danish functionalism.
The VL45 Radiohus lamp is manufactured according to the original design, with a graceful brass suspension mechanism and a shade of hand-blown opal glass. There is an opening at the bottom of the glass shade that directs light straight down.
