The idea for Table54 came from the waste wood of a larger factory. It was from these recycled battens that the idea for the tabletop was born. The first table tops were made of 54 wood battens, which gave the product a lively surface. Thanks to the glueing technique, the table is lifeless, which allows the elimination of support sets and the customisation of dimensions according to the customer's wishes.
The Table54 is suitable both as a dining and conference table. The product is manufactured in Muoto2's own factory in Lahti, and the metal parts are subcontracted from a local company. The product has been designed by designers Kirsi Pasanen and Mikko Kentta. The product is delivered with the legs detached.
