The Puff shade is part of Normann Copenhagen's Puff series of rice paper lamps. The Puff is a modern interpretation of traditional rice paper lamps, with a design that reiterates organic and simple shapes. The Puff range pays homage to the traditional Asian rice paper lamp tradition. Designer Saskia Huebner was inspired by her trip to Japan, where she saw endless variations of rice paper lamps. From there, she found a balance between sculptural playful design and functional minimalism. The differently shaped, plush and lightweight shades, can be combined together to create airy lighting settings. Light filters through the rice paper with a soft and warm glow.
The Puff shades are available in four different shapes that resemble plush balloons. The lampshade is supplied without a cord and ceiling cup.
