In the autumn of 2015, Louis Poulsen spiced up its classic collection with a completely novel lamp. The Patera is inspired by the spiral shapes found in nature: plants, seeds, cones, shells – sources of inspiration to great artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Johan Sebastian Bach in ancient times.
Designed by Øivind Slaatto, the Patera emits a pleasantly soft light. Its secret lies in the layered structure of the shade, which illuminates the room evenly but prevents glare by reflecting the light. The light lamp is easy to install anywhere from over the dining table to high hallways or the bedroom.
