The Pilke pendant lamp is a wooden centrepiece that brings warm elegance to any room in the house.
Designed by internationally acclaimed designer Tuukka Halonen, the Pilke collection is a series of luminaires that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology in the form of water jet cutting. It is a great method for processing plywood, as the cutting process does not generate heat. The birch plywood shades are assembled from numerous pieces without glue or screws.
The pendants’s plywood surface and shape filter the light softly and naturally. The Finnish word Pilke means a glimmer of light. A Pilke pendant is beautiful by itself, but also makes for impressive combinations with other pendants from the collection. Length of black cable 2 m.
